When describing Dana its been said: “There is an old soul in that young body”. Nothing could be more true. Dana has been performing and writing her own music for many years. Her young age hides a seasoned musician who knows how to please an audience, understands what makes a good song great and is dedicated to leaving you loving her at the end of every show. Her song ideas are pulled from years of getting out and living life, enjoying all there is to offer, and they are sung with a voice that starts deep in her heart and resonates out with all the passion and feeling she can muster.Dana comes from a musical background and has enjoyed playing and singing with her family her entire life. Whether it was performing with the family band or jamming it up at a kitchen party, music has always been a daily event.Since moving to Halifax Dana has become a regular at many of the local performing centers, including, The Company House, The Carleton, The Casino, and the Seahorse Tavern. Dana has performed at East Coast Music Week, North by Northeast, Festival of Small Halls, In the Dead of Winter festival, NS Music Week, The Lunnenberg Folk Harbour Festival, and The Gordie Sampson’s Song-Camp.

Dana has opened for the likes of Kathleen Edwards, Gordie Sampson, Amelia Curran, Jenn Grant and Irish Mythen. Dana is currently working on a new album, to be recorded with Daniel Ledwel at his home studio in Lake Echo.

Dana won Gold in 2014 "The Coast's Best of Halifax- music edition" for Country Artist in Halifax.
